FinCEN SAR Proposal

On February 2nd the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) issued a notice regarding a proposed rule to change data fields on the Suspicious Activity Report (SAR) form.  FinCEN is updating and revising over a dozen fields on the electronic SAR form.  None of the changes amounts to new requirements for SAR filings.

Comments on the proposed rule are due April 3, 2017.
