FFIEC Releases new HMDA Reporting Guide
On April 1, 2019, the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council (FFIEC) issued an updated version of A Guide to HMDA Reporting: Getting It Right!. The new version is to be used for Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) data collected in 2019 and reported in 2020. The guide includes updated HMDA examination procedures reflecting the rule changes which occurred in 2015 and 2017. Examiners will be using the updated exam procedures so it important to become familiar with them.
