Happy Thanksgiving!

I am typically on the road about 100-125 days a year but usually a trip is typically less than a week at a time. Back in 2014 I did a 22 day trip, home a day and then a 21 day trip. Until this year that was the longest I have been away from home.

This year, I left home on Saturday October 15 and I still have not been home. I am spending this week in Phoenix with my family for Thanksgiving. Here are some highlights of the trip:

  • 12 different states,
  • 10 different time zones,
  • 14 different hotels,
  • Five rental cars, and
  • 16 airplane flights.

I think it will be 43 days by the time I get home.

However, enough about my trip. This post is to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving and make sure everyone knows what is most important is not business but family. I got to do a “donut” run with my 4 year-old granddaughter and 22 month old grandson this morning and nothing is better than that.

Again, HAPPY THANKSGIVING.
