Blog, Blog, Blog

I can’t believe that almost twelve years have gone by since I started the blog back in early 2009.  A lot of changes have occurred during that time.  Many good, some not so good.

For those that are interested, Vanessa Bechtel interviewed me regarding the history of the blog for our Ag Insights series.

In the interview, I share how the blog got started; who helped with the format; some of my favorite topics that we have covered in the blog; and several other items.

I think everyone will enjoy the video (but if you don’t just don’t tell me).

I am also reaching out directly to FSA with some of the questions that we brought up in yesterday’s blog post.  I will keep you posted once I get some answers.

Thank you so much for the video describing how the blog started. Quite interesting. Also, I would like to comment that the videos with the interview format as you’ve had lately are relevant and helpful. I have attended two now, and I hope you and Vanessa are planning more. I realize there needs to be an issue in order to have a webcast but I hope you can provide at least one a month with subjects relevant to farmers.
Respectfully,

Watched your presentation regarding the Blog. It was excellent, especially the part about Last Man Standing which is one of my favorites. Actually I watch reruns now instead of the national news which generally I can do without. Keep up the good work.
