A Webinar on FSA Emergency Relief Program (ERP)

Please note the original post had it as of July 30. It is actually today, Wednesday June 29. Just an update.

I will be doing a webinar for the North Dakota Society of CPAs on the FSA Emergency Relief Program (ERP) this Wednesday July 30 from 1 pm to 2:40 PM Central Time.

Topics I will cover are as follows:

  • A review of the FSA emergency relief program and why Farm AGI is important for our farmers.
  • What is the current understanding of farm income for FSA purposes, not income tax purposes. There is a wide difference between these definitions.
  • Practical examples explaining how the program works.
  • Review of what we still don’t know.
  • Q and A

This webinar will qualify for 2 hours of CPE and the cost is fairly minor – $25 for ND members and $35 for all others. This webinar is designed for CPAs and attorneys but farmers may want to attend to see why we are having some issues with doing these calculations.

Comments

Is it going to be archived? I was out of the office Wednesday and the email came in at 4:30 am Wednesday.

Does this qualify for CPE for EA’s as well or only CPA’s?

It is today, Wednesday June 29th.

Will this be available in archive?

What is the date of this webcast? Did you mean June 30, Thursday?

July 30 is not on a Wednesday….

When is the deadline to file? I have guys concerned we will miss the deadline as some think it is July 22nd or when money runs out.

Will this be recorded and sent to those who can’t attend. I will still pay the registration fee.
