CLA’s Sage Intacct Spark #8: Intacct for Mobile

Are you a little too familiar with your CFO’s personal schedule? Do you know he/she always comes in on Friday’s at about 9:00am. Depending, of course, on whether they picked up coffee or if they had a meeting that morning (although meetings are usually on the 1st and 3rd Friday of the month of course). You also know Friday’s are the weekly lunch meeting with the CEO at about 12:30.

Sound a little too familiar? These signs all point to you being the person in finance needing their signature on checks. Luckily, with Intacct, you no longer have to stalk your CFO. You can request approval on AP payments virtually and even have checks signed. In this Spark we’ll walk through Intacct’s mobile site!

AP Payment Email Request:

The entire process begins with an email requesting approval of a transaction.

Not receiving the email? Check your user preferences to enable the notification.

Sign-In and Home Page:

Following the link for approval takes you to the Intacct Mobile login page.

There are two main features available via the mobile site: approvals and dashboards.

Approvals:

Clicking Approvals takes you to a list of types of transaction awaiting your stamp of approval: AP Payments and Purchases in this example.

Clicking AP Payments, takes you to a list of AP bills selected for payment. You can easily select which bills you’d like to Approve/Decline followed by the appropriate action button below.

Bonus Feature: Dashboards from Mobile

Dashboards are also available from the mobile site (to include KPI’s and Graphs)! This means, your users can truly have real-time access to information wherever, whenever.

Keep in mind if you’ve enforced IP address filters on your users (to include the CFO), they will only be able to access Intacct when their IP address is within range.
