Ode to Hay

Here is my first attempt at a FarmCPA Today poem (most likely my last one too)

On a perfect sunny afternoon day
My client had hay
That must be baled
Before rain or hail
Comes to ruin the day

I had never operated a baler
Nor been a tailor
My client liked cheap labor
Normally his neighbor
Would be pulling the baler
But today he got me

I engaged the PTO
A younger me wished it was a GTO
Around and around I went
Dropping little bales of hay
On a nice sunny day

The end

My farm client in Terrebonne, Oregon graciously let me drive the tractor today for about two hours baling hay and for this farm boy nothing could be better (until it is time for corn harvest).
