Mother Nature Intervenes

I had hope to ride on both a new Case IH 9230 and a JD S680. Well, Mother Nature had other ideas with a fair amount of rain on Saturday which nixed the Case IH 9230. I did get to sit in the cab which is nicer than a lot of high end cars with red leather seats, etc. of course, when you are most likely spending at least $400,000 on a machine like this they can afford to make the cab nice.

I did get to ride in the JD S680 last night for a couple of hours in 200 bushel corn with 25%+ moisture. This is a very nice machine and you spend almost as much time dumping on the go than not.

I had my business meeting in Ames, Iowa this morning and about ready to get on the plane to fly home. I am writing this on my IPad and the only issue is my eyes keep getting older or the type smaller.
