AICPA Ag Conference

I was the chairperson for the 2014 AICPA Ag Conference held in Austin, Texas last week.  One of the slogans that we constantly saw walking around Austin was “Keep Austin Weird” and I can tell you there are certainly some “weird” people walking around downtown Austin.

We had about 200 people attend the conference and we had sessions dealing with accounting, tax, economics and other ag related topics.  The feedback so far has been very positive and we will be planning the 2016 Ag conference soon.  If you were unable to attend the conference (it was sold out about two months ago), there are several other conferences coming up around the US over the next few months.

Many of the state societies also have an Ag specific conference during the year.  We are always looking for feedback on items to discuss on this blog, so please feel free to send me a quick e-mail at paul.neiffer@claconnect.com with any ideas that you might have.
