CPAs Can Be Entrepreneurs Too

We just did an Ag Insights Video with Todd Churchill, a CPA that joined our firm about six months ago after starting a successful grass-fed beef company (Thousand Hills Beef).  Todd actually worked for our firm for a while before going out on his own.

He originally did part-time CFO consulting which led to him starting his entrepreneurial career in the grass-fed beef business before he sold it and then came back to CLA as part of our Biz Ops team in a role as a part-time CFO.

The key difference that Todd provides is more of a focus on strategy versus compliance.  I think you will enjoy the discussion.

Also, just a reminder that the Farm CPA podcast is up and running on Apple Podcasts and it is very easy to subscribe to.  Please leave a review.  This increases the audience for the podcast.  This afternoon I get my first chance of the season to get some combine time in.  I am looking forward to that even though yields in our area are down at least 20-30% this year.
