CliftonLarsonAllen Acquires PKC Consulting

CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA), a national certified public accounting and consulting firm, announced on August 1, 2014, that it has acquired PKC Consulting, a La Crosse, Wisconsin, consulting, accounting and tax services firm.

“PKC Consulting has garnered a strong reputation by providing integrated business solutions that provide the financial knowledge clients need to be successful,” says Steve Bien, managing principal of CLA’s western Wisconsin region. “Our acquisition of PKC Consulting will greatly expand our services to better meet the ongoing needs of organizations in the La Crosse area.”

Joining CLA are eight PKC Consulting professionals including owner, Sheri Knope. “We founded PKC Consulting in 2008 to provide our clients with the tools and advice they need to be successful in making wise financial decisions,” says Knope. “CLA’s depth of national resources, talent, and expertise will only enhance the services we provide.”

“The combination of the two firms represents a perfect fit for CLA,” says Bien. “The firm provides a full package of services, including accounting as well as financial reporting and tax planning. In addition, PKC Consulting’s emphasis on strong client relationships and high quality standards matches CLA’s culture and mission perfectly. We also look forward to building on Sheri’s experience with financial institutions across our offices in western Wisconsin. With over 20 years of experience working with financial institutions, Sheri provides extensive knowledge in risk management, audit, fraud, consulting, and governance.”
