December 13, 2017 Farm Tax Planning Webinar

On Wednesday, December 13, Rod Mauscyzki and I will be presenting a farm tax planning webinar.  You can register here. As I’ve mentioned, there will continue to be changes as the House and Senate work through tax reform. It’s harder to plan when you don’t have a final bill, but if you attend our webinar, we’ll keep you as up-to-date as we can. If you register and can’t make the specific time, we will send a recording of the webinar to you.

does this qualify for CPE, i.e., will you issue cpe certificate

Hi Paul

I’m a CPA in Baton Rouge Louisiana. I own a small firm with my partner. We do mostly consulting work, setting up Accounting Departments for small businesses. However our tax business is starting to grow and every now and then I get a farm tax question. I’m completely clueless and have no experience with farm businesses or tax. I also am a city girl married to a country boy. My husband has farmed his entire life, mostly cattle, but just as a hobby with his family. He’s now buying farming equipment and setting up fences on our property to raise cattle. He’s asking me questions and again I’m clueless… I’m trying to find education out on the web and I’m not having much luck. Do you have any recommendations to get farm business and tax smart so that I can assist my husband and my growing tax practice.

Thanks

Katherine Hymel
